Basic Life & AD&D Insurance

This employer-provided benefit includes $25,000 in Basic Life Insurance and $25,000 in Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage at no cost to you. Basic Life Insurance provides financial support for your loved ones in the event of your death, while AD&D offers additional protection for accidental death or serious injuries.

Coverage includes a waiver of premium if you become disabled, age-based reductions starting at 65, and an accelerated death benefit for qualifying terminal illness.

Together, these benefits provide essential financial protection and peace of mind for you and your family.

Short-Term Disability (STD)

Short-Term Disability coverage provides income protection if you're unable to work due to a non-work-related illness, injury, or accident. This benefit replaces 60% of your salary, up to a maximum of $1,000, for up to 13 weeks. Benefits begin on the 8th day following an accident or sickness.

This coverage helps provide financial stability during short-term medical recovery.

Long-Term Disability (LTD)

Long-Term Disability provides income protection if a serious illness or injury prevents you from working long term. The plan replaces 60% of your monthly income (up to $7,500/month, $100 minimum) after a 90-day elimination period and can continue to
age 65.

It includes own occupation coverage for the first 24 months, then transitions to any occupation based on your ability to earn 60% of income.

This benefit helps protect your financial stability during extended health challenges.
