Eligibility

If you are a regular full-time employee of Hiltz Propane, you are eligible to participate in the Hiltz Propane benefits program on the first of the month following 30 days from your date of hire. As a new hire, you have the option to enroll yourself and/or your eligible dependents in Hiltz Propane's benefits program. If you do not enroll within 30 days of your initial eligibility period, you will not have an opportunity to do so until the next open enrollment period.

If you don't enroll by the date when your benefits will go into effect, you will not have the opportunity to do so until the next open enrollment period, unless you have a Qualifying Life Event.​

Eligible dependents include:

  • Your legal spouse

  • Your children up to age 26. Only those dependents who meet the eligibility requirements can enroll for coverage. Dependents may remain enrolled in your healthcare plan until the conclusion of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 26.
